Tribute from Zac, Mike's grandson Mike was a cheeky and loving grandpa to me, someone who was always ready to go on an adventure. Up to quite recently, he was game to go on tree-top rope trails and zip-wires with me and my sister or sail a boat with the family in Croatia. His yearly trips to Singapore to see the F1 with me and my father are some of the best times in my life and I’lll never forgot them. Mike viewed life with optimism, always refusing to give up. I will especially remember how he was there, ready to help me out, even at my lowest point, to encourage me not to give up and to look at the all the options I still had. I love him and will miss him dearly.
